Professional Learning Plan

Empowering Students Through Reflection, Leadership, and Digital Literacy

In today’s classrooms, students are not just learners—they are leaders in their own growth and development. The ability to set goals, reflect on progress, and showcase achievements is essential in preparing them for lifelong learning. Leadership ePortfolios provide a powerful, student-centered tool that fosters self-reflection, goal-setting, creativity, and digital literacy.

This Professional Learning Plan is designed to equip elementary educators with the knowledge, skills, and resources to successfully integrate ePortfolios into their classrooms. Through a structured, hands-on approach, educators will learn how to:

  • Guide students in creating and maintaining ePortfolios that highlight their academic and leadership growth.

  • Use digital tools and platforms (Google Sites, Seesaw) to support student learning.

  • Foster student ownership and creativity by incorporating multimedia elements.

  • Implement goal-setting strategies (such as Wildly Important Goals - WIGs) to track progress.

  • Provide meaningful feedback and assessment through reflection and peer collaboration.
